Medical Student Education
Overview
The OUDEM has as a major goal, the introduction of medical students to the principles and practice of Emergency Medicine.
Department faculty all participate in medical student education, both in the lecture hall and in clinical settings.
The OUDEM's medical student activities include emergency department shadowing, an emergency medicine clerkship, a disaster medicine elective, the EM interest group, EMS, ultrasound, and research.
