Research

OUDEM places emphasis on the role of preparing residency graduates who will be intelligent consumers of, and contributors to, the medical literature. In addition to the resources provided by faculty mentors and co-investigators, the residents have access to the laboratory and basic science facilities at OU. By the end of their first month of training, residents obtain the necessary human subjects/IRB credentialing for participation in the many ongoing projects in the Department.
Research Director Annette Arthur PharmD, is the contact for all residents – and for any others such as students – wishing assistance with acute care research.
