ODI Strategic Planning and Consulting
In close cooperation with the OU Department of Emergency Medicine's EMS Division, ODI plays an integral role in disaster strategy and tactics throughout the state, including in the two largest metropolitan areas of Oklahoma City and Tulsa.
Faculty plan, coordinate, and evaluate disaster exercises throughout Oklahoma. In addition, ODI faculty have responded in actual situations ranging from environmental (e.g., ice storms, tornadoes) to medical (e.g., E. coli outbreak).
